Rituals wanted to translate the joy and wonder of its physical Advent Calendar into a digital format. The challenge was to design an experience that combined storytelling, gamification, and seamless brand integration, captivating audiences while driving measurable engagement and brand loyalty.
Inspired by the Rituals Advent Calendar, we created a 3D digital Christmas village where users could explore a festive world through innovative scrollytelling. Each house in the village unlocked a mini-game, inviting users to light up the entire village. The journey ended with an opportunity to win the physical Advent Calendar, blending the digital and physical seamlessly while amplifying the magic of the season.
The Advent Game became a standout success, generating over 2 million views and attracting 430,000 users. With an average engagement time of 4.5 minutes, the interactive experience captivated users and deepened their connection to the Rituals brand. Over 188,000 users registered their email, turning engagement into valuable leads and reinforcing Rituals as a cherished part of the holiday season.
